United Airlines Launches New Nonstop Service Between Reykjavik and Washington D.C.

United Airlines launched direct flights between Keflavík Airport and Washington, D.C. today. To mark the occasion, passengers were given a warm welcome upon their arrival to KEF. This summer, United Airlines will operate daily flights between KEF and Dulles International Airport, expanding options for passengers in terms of both comfort and flight connections.

United Airlines has been flying to KEF Airport since 2018, and this summer their selection of flights from KEF grows to three destinations. In addition to Washington D.C., United also offer daily flights to Newark/New York and Chicago O‘hare.

United Airlines will operate daily flights to and from Keflavik Airport (KEF) to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) up until September 23rd. According to the flight schedule, the arrival time is 8:30 and departure time is 11:30.

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is one of the most important connection-hub airports on the U.S. East Coast and a key gateway for international travel. United Airlines is the largest carrier at the airport and flies to over 50 destinations across the Americas.
